THIS YEAR'S FESTIVAL IS DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF HAROLD BLANCHARD WHO PASSED AWAY LAST DECEMBER. HAROLD WAS NEW SMYRNA'S "AMBASSADOR OF JAZZ" AND PERFORMED AT THE FESTIVAL EVERY YEAR FROM 2001-2010.
